Modular synthesist David Castellani shares ‘Immutable’, the next step in his Noetic label story, featuring a pin-sharp remix from Truncate.

Arguably his most exciting production to date, ‘Immutable’ is a clear step in his sound design journey and sees the producer craft a visceral trip into the deep, with a detail-orientated touch. The track is marked by frenetic synth effects, piston-sharp drums sequences and an incredible dynamism from start to finish. Tempos are lowered at key moments, yet the captivating dance-floor energy is never lost. Proof that beauty exists amongst the chaos.

Truncate was a natural fit to join Noetic, with Castellani having deep respect for the fellow LA artist’s output, as well as his old crew Droid Behaviour. The veteran techno artist has likewise supported Castellani’s productions on Noetic. He brings his trademark singular focus to his ‘Immutable’ re-design, dialling down the chaotic magnitude of the synth lines and bringing in a heady atmospheric quality to the track. A cut equally adept for warm ups and those Sunday sessions that stretch into the PMs.
